❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How are RAL colors processed correctly?
The surface must be dry, clean, and free of grease. Apply the paint in 2–3 thin coats, allowing sufficient drying time between coats. A suitable primer will significantly improve adhesion and coverage.
What is the ideal temperature?
The optimal painting temperature is between 18–25 °C with a relative humidity below 70%. Surfaces that are too cold or too warm can impair the result.
Can I combine the products?
Our RAL systems are compatible with WT-DIRECT basecoats, hardeners, and clearcoats. An adhesion or compatibility test should always be performed when using third-party systems.
How long does the drying process take?
Intermediate drying for approximately 10–15 minutes at 20 °C; final hardening after 24 hours. Optionally, forced drying at 60 °C for 30 minutes can be carried out.
How do I store opened containers?
Store in a cool (10–25 °C), dry place, tightly sealed. Protect from sunlight, frost, and heat. Do not store near ignition sources.
