Assembly & easy handling
The WT-DIRECT demineralization cartridge consists of a glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) pressure vessel with a blow-molded polyethylene (PE) inner container approved for drinking water use. The continuous outer glass fiber wrapping ensures permanent pressure resistance up to 6 bar .
The integrated PVC manifold head features side click connections for inlet and outlet. Thanks to the quick-change system with locking clips, the cartridge can be replaced quickly, safely, and without tools.
High-quality mixed bed resin (30 liters)
The mixed-bed resin used is a ready-to-use, ionically balanced synthetic resin consisting of strongly acidic cation exchangers and strongly basic anion exchangers . It removes almost 100% of the salts dissolved in the water and achieves conductivities down to 0.2 µS/cm .
How demineralization works
Dissolved salts exist in water as cations and anions. These are bound in the mixed-bed resin and neutralized against H⁺ and OH⁻.
