The 1.8M Hydrographics Printer LY1800 is a professional ECO-solvent large format printer with a print width of 1.80 m, specifically designed for printing water transfer films (PVA/Hydrographics films).
The combination of an 8-color printing system, automatic rewinding and integrated drying makes the LY1800 ideal for individual decors, series production and industrial surface finishing.

  • Air-conditioned printing and storage area (recommended 20–25 °C.)

6. Typical Workflow (Brief Description)

  1. Creating or preparing the print design (e.g. with graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW).

  2. Setting up the job in the RIP software, defining the color profile and resolution.

  3. Loading the printer with blank PVA film and aligning the web.

  4. Start of the print job – automatic rewinding and drying during printing.

  5. Store the printed films in a dry place under suitable environmental conditions.

  6. Use in water transfer tanks (activator, soaking time and temperature according to the respective process).

7. Storage and Transport

  • The printer should be operated in dry, clean production areas.

  • Recommended ambient temperature: 20–25 °C

  • Recommended relative humidity: 45–60%

  • Transport according to manufacturer's instructions, ensuring stable fixing and protection from vibration.

8. Safety instructions

  • National and EU-relevant regulations on the handling of chemicals (inks, cleaning agents, etc.) must be observed.

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with the safety data sheets of the inks and additives used.

  • Ensure adequate ventilation of the pressure chamber.
