FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about the Sink Is the basin only suitable for water transfer printing? The focus is on its use in water transfer printing, but it can also be used for other rinsing operations in pre- or post-treatment, as long as the media used are compatible. How long should the rinsing time be? Rinse until no slimy or slippery PVA residue is perceptible and the surface appears clean. Insufficient rinsing can lead to adhesion problems and defects under the clear coat. Can regular tap water be used? Yes, in principle that's possible. However, for optimal results, we recommend rinsing with the cleanest possible water (low conductivity) at the end to minimize any subsequent reactions in the clear coat. How is the pool cleaned? After use, rinse briefly with water and remove any remaining PVA residue mechanically. This will keep the basin clean and ready for use for longer.
