Description

The PRO WT-1703 mixed bed resin is a demineralizer for demineralized water.

PRO WT-1703 is an ionically balanced mixed-bed resin for water demineralization. With PRO WT-1703, a conductivity of less than 1.0 μS/cm can be achieved. Silica and carbon dioxide are completely removed. The resulting demineralized water is particularly suitable for spotless cleaning of, for example, solar panels.

The salts in drinking water consist of metal ions (cations) and an acid residue (anions). Ion exchange resins are used to remove cations and anions. A cation exchanger selectively binds cations such as sodium and calcium ions and releases hydrogen ions (H+ ions) in return. An anion exchanger selectively binds anions such as sulfate and chloride ions and releases hydroxide ions (OH- ions) in return. The result of this exchange process is nearly pure water.

Mixed-bed resin is used in demineralization cartridges. Demineralization cartridges are available with a stainless steel pressure tank or a GRP pressure tank; we have both versions in stock.
