Water transfer printing: The water transfer printing process is suitable for printing even complexly shaped surfaces with a variety of designs (films). This can be done on all paintable materials such as plastic, metal, wood, glass, etc. Depending on the surface condition, the part to be printed must be pre-treated (e.g., lightly sanded). The part is then primed in the desired color. The desired design (= the corresponding WT-DIRECT film) is placed on the water surface of the dipping tank and sprayed with the WT-DIRECT activator, causing the carrier film to dissolve in the water. The part to be printed is then immersed in the water tank, and the water pressure evenly transfers the design.
